Living a Life That Works™

What the heck are you talking about?  What’s a Life That Works™?  My life works fine most of the time.  Beside those minor aches and pains, occasional gut issues, headaches, or anxieties, I’m doing just fine, thank you.  My life is working just fine.

We’re often pretty tough and durable as a species.  We often push through pain, physically and mentally, to get the job done.  Our life might not be working as good as it could, but we have the drive and wherewithal to overcome many rough spots to get the job done.

A Life That Works™ (LTW) isn’t about how life happens to you.  It’s about how you make life happen, and believe me, you have significant control over how that life manifests as one that works well or doesn’t.

A Life That Works™ is a life where all the parts are running smoothly.  Your various systems are sympatico—more in balance than they are out-of-balance.  Your body and life are working like they are supposed to be working.  You feel and function great.  Life works like it’s designed to work.

We’re Born to Be Well™.  Most of us have what we need to successfully experience our journey relatively unscathed, if we support the elements of life that are requisite to expressing health.  A Life That Works™ can be reduced to one category: exposure.

Exposure can be expanded to three basic categories: physical, mental, and chemical.  Those three categories can be defined as constructive or destructive.  We are constantly “exposed.”  Ionizing cosmic rays constantly bombard our physical environment.  Negative mental gymnastics often creep into our minds and produce negative results.  The dangerous chemicals in our food and air have profound negative impact.

Conversely, exposure to constructive physical activities strengthens our physical bodies.  Constructive mental practices and habits produce better outcomes.  Optimizing constructive chemical exposures in our life contribute to normal body function.

We are constantly exposed to all these constructive and destructive forces in our lives.  Those people that tip the scales to the constructive side have a greater capacity to overcome the destructive side of the equation.  They exhibit better health and wellness.  They have a Life That Works, Better™.

While this is a simplistic way to look at life, it is, nonetheless, an accurate picture of how to assess life.  Plus, it’s an easy way for you to look at life and be better equipped to make choices about your exposures.  Are you exposing yourself to constructive elements in your life or destructive elements?  When you look at the world through a lens of two choices, positive or negative/constructive or destructive, it makes it easier for you to assign the value you want to help you express the outcome you intend to achieve.

We’re Born to Be Well™.  Whether you end up with a LTW depends, in large measure, on the choices you make along the way.  It depends upon the choices you make to make life happen.  Incorporate this simple life viewpoint in your decisions and start asking yourself: Is this a constructive choice I’m about to make that will provide positive outcomes, or is this GMO-based chemically processed snack cake going to create some negative outcome?  Start viewing your choices as constructive or destructive.  You’ll be amazed at how your life will start working better!
